The Last Bus

Widower Tom, on the recent passing away of his wife Mary, uses his complimentary bus pass to travel the length of Britain from John O'Groats in Scotland to Land's End in Cornwall, their shared native home, using just local buses. It's an incident-fuelled nostalgia trip as well as his experiences with local individuals make him a media phenomenon. Tom is entirely uninformed and also to his shock on arrival at Land's End he's welcomed as a celebrity.
